The German Bakehouse Group, based in Coolum Beach (Sunshine Coast), is looking for an experienced Baker to join our team.

4/5 days available in a CASUAL position.

start: 2:00pm finish: 10:00pm.

Guaranteed Sunday off.

Sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and sourdough breads.
Prepare custom-made products (e.g. various bread shapes, different sized pastries, seasonal items).
Maintaining cleanliness & safety in our bakery.
Prepare and decorate pastries or cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream etc.
Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, cleaning and production levels as required.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

Have a passion for baked goods and pastry
Have reliable transport
Have experience in the relevant area (baking, working in a fast paced bakery environment)
Knowledge of all bakery equipment including mixing, ovens, dividers, sheeter etc.
Have a positive attitude and love working in a team environment.

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour
