Tanglewood Organic Sourdough Bakery is a small artisan bakery based in Noosaville within Belmondos Organic Market. We are a busy wholesale bakery using artisan skills, hard work and the best local & organic produce to stock cafes, restaurants, our own 2 retail bakeries and other shops on the Sunshine Coast.
We pride ourselves on our craftmanship, specialising in organic produce, slow natural ferment sourdoughs and Viennoiserie.
We are seeking for an experienced Baker with Viennoiserie experience in high volume, to join our passionate small hard working fun team.

About you:
This opportunity is suited for someone who is looking to take his/her craftmanship further. Work in a supportive team and progress their career. The right candidate will have a good eye for detail and presentation of product, able to follow systems and procedures. Willing to work autonomously and as part of a team. As our Baker (Viennoiserie) you will be responsible for the preparation and production of laminated pastries, enriched dough and small cake in a high volume environment
● Minimum 2-3 years of French style artisan bread and Viennoiserie making experience required
● Have experience with high volume production of Viennoiserie and artisan Sourdough
● Excellent hand moulding, shaping, cutting and finishing pastries and bread with a high level of attention to detail.
● Operating and maintaining specialised pastry equipment including dough sheeters, mixers, ovens etc
● Assisting with product development and continuous improvement initiatives
● Must be willing to work the oven
● Demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and a positive approach to change
● Strict adherence to food safety regulations and good eye for details
Essential requirements:
● Certificate III in Retail Baking & Patisserie
● A great attitude and willingness to learn
● Must have good communication skills & work within a team
● Proven experience in similar roles
● Strong product knowledge, including artisan sourdough, croissants and pastries
