Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail business to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
Plan and implement strategies to increase sales, profitability, and overall business performance
Lead, supervise, train, and motivate staff to achieve business objectives and maintain high service standards
Manage staff rostering, performance monitoring, and workplace productivity
Ensure excellent customer service by handling enquiries, feedback, and resolving customer concerns professionally
Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, coordinate ordering, and maintain product availability
Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximise product presentation and sales opportunities
Analyse sales reports, market trends, and customer preferences to identify areas for improvement
Manage budgets, financial records, cash handling procedures, and operational expenses
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and business stakeholders
Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements, and relevant retail regulations
Monitor product quality, pricing, and promotional activities to support business growth
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement effective business solutions

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business Management, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail management or a similar leadership role
Strong understanding of retail operations, sales management, and customer service practices
Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a team effectively
Experience in stock management, inventory control, and supplier coordination
Ability to analyse business performance and implement strategies for improvement
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes
