About the role

Westbury Constructions due to continues growth and expansion is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team in Morisset, NSW. As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and administration of our construction projects. This full-time position offers an opportunity to apply your exceptional contract management skills and contribute to the continued success of our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of construction-related contracts, including subcontractor agreements, procurement contracts and client contracts
Monitoring and administering contract variations, extensions, and renewals to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve contractual issues and facilitate timely project delivery
Maintaining comprehensive contract records and documentation, including contract registers, insurance certificates, and performance bonds
Providing support and guidance to project teams on contractual matters and the interpretation of contract clauses
Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions and the evaluation of subcontractor proposals
Identifying and managing contractual risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar contracts administration role, preferably within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction contract principles, including standard forms of contract
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in contract administration software and Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as law, business, or construction management, is highly desirable
Experience with Project and Cost Management software such as Procore, Breadcrumb and Cheops
