About the role
Westbury Constructions due to continues growth and expansion is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team in Morisset, NSW. As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and administration of our construction projects. This full-time position offers an opportunity to apply your exceptional contract management skills and contribute to the continued success of our dynamic organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of construction-related contracts, including subcontractor agreements, procurement contracts and client contracts
- Monitoring and administering contract variations, extensions, and renewals to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
- Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve contractual issues and facilitate timely project delivery
- Maintaining comprehensive contract records and documentation, including contract registers, insurance certificates, and performance bonds
- Providing support and guidance to project teams on contractual matters and the interpretation of contract clauses
- Assisting with the preparation of tender submissions and the evaluation of subcontractor proposals
- Identifying and managing contractual risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
What we're looking for
- Experience in a similar contracts administration role, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction contract principles, including standard forms of contract
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in contract administration software and Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as law, business, or construction management, is highly desirable
- Experience with Project and Cost Management software such as Procore, Breadcrumb and Cheops
