About the Role

I am working with a growing boutique business in the construction sector, based in Sydney, who are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Administration Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career while gaining broad exposure across reception, client communication and general office coordination.

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play an important role in representing the business. A friendly, confident and professional communication style is essential.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident dealing with people.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in an administration, reception or customer service roleA confident and professional phone and email manner

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication skills

Confidence using social media platforms for business purposes

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

A professional and polished approach when dealing with clients

The ability to work independently while also supporting a close-knit team

Key Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and manage reception duties with a warm, professional manner
Prepare and follow up on client quotes
Contact clients by phone and email to coordinate updates and information
Manage the company's social media posting and page
Order and manage office supplies and stock levels
Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed
Maintain a tidy, organised front-of-house and office environment
Assist with document preparation and basic data entry

Requirements

Previous experience in an administration or reception role
Confident, professional phone and email manner
Comfortable managing social media platforms for business purposes
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Presentable, professional appearance suited to client-facing work
Experience in construction or a related trade industry is a plus
