Business Manager — Two Full-Time Positions

Spoon Digital Limited is looking for two early-career professionals to join our Melbourne team in full-time roles. You will help develop new business opportunities, support client accounts and coordinate with our strategy, creative, digital marketing and production teams in Australia and Hong Kong.

Contract position title: Business Manager

About Spoon Digital

Spoon Digital Limited is an advertising agency providing creative, strategy, digital marketing, production and marketing consultancy services. This role offers exposure to client work and cross-border collaboration between our Melbourne and Hong Kong teams.

Responsibilities

Communicate with prospective and existing clients to understand their advertising, marketing and business needs.

Help shape suitable creative, strategy, digital marketing and production solutions with support from senior and specialist colleagues.

Identify, research and assess new business opportunities.

Support client outreach, proposals, presentations, pitches and commercial discussions.

Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM and client follow-up records.

Build and maintain client relationships and identify appropriate retention, cross-sell and account-growth opportunities.

Coordinate with strategy, creative, production and delivery teams across Australia and Hong Kong.

Support client onboarding, project handover and ongoing account communication.

Monitor client requirements, timelines, commitments, scope and satisfaction, and escalate issues appropriately.

Follow company procedures for pricing, expenditure, contracting, confidentiality, privacy and record-keeping.

Minimum requirements

At least one year of relevant practical experience in business development, account management, client service, advertising, marketing or a related field, or equivalent transferable experience.

Professional client communication and organised follow-up.

Some experience supporting proposals, presentations or pitches.

Experience with a CRM or sales pipeline tool, or demonstrated ability to learn one quickly.

Current lawful Australian work rights.

Ability to work primarily on site in Tullamarine, with reasonable adjustments if required.

Preferred

Advertising agency, marketing, creative, production or related sector exposure.

A relevant degree or qualification; equivalent practical experience is welcomed.

Experience collaborating across functions or locations.

Role scope

This is an early-career business development and client account role. It does not include staff management or independent authority to approve expenditure, sign contracts, change client commercial terms or make binding commitments on behalf of Spoon Digital Limited. Proposal development, client handover and account development will be supported by relevant colleagues.
