Full Job Description

We are a newly opened Italian restaurant looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

We pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy flavorsome food, attentive service, and an intimate dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in all daily front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Contritbute to the training, rostering, and managing front-of-house staff to deliver warm, and professional service.
Be hands on in service flow and table management ie greet guests, assist in taking orders & assess their satisfaction with meals and service
Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure menu consistency, quality, and dietary compliance.
Manage reservations, guest relations, and conflict resolution with a customer-first approach.
Assist in the organising and coordinating functions/special events to ensure they are executed seamlessly and successfully
Oversee FOH stock control, supplier relationships, ordering, and inventory management.
Ensuring Food Safety procedures are followed.
Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance

Skills & Experience

Proficiency in English
Proven experience as a supervisor or Assistant Manager or in a senior hospitality role.
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and service etiquette.
Exceptional leadership, communication and team management skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (required).
Food Safety Supervisor certification (required or willing to obtain).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
