As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunication Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment, systems, and cabling
Perform fault finding, testing, and diagnostics on telecommunications networks
Work with fibre optic and copper cabling systems for installation and maintenance
Configure and maintain communication equipment and network infrastructure
Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and network plans
Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards and regulations
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
Operate tools, testing equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate service records and prepare technical reports where required
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects within deadlines
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications or a related field
1–2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
Experience working with fibre optic and copper network systems
Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, installation, and maintenance practices
Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
White Card (Construction Induction Card) – preferred
Valid driver’s licence - required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
