Join the crew at cups n cones Southgate!

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused team members to join our busy Southgate store. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering great customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Located in Melbourne's Southgate precinct, cups n cones serves premium gelato, desserts, coffee, and cold beverages to a diverse range of customers every day. We're seeking team members who are eager to learn, work hard, and contribute to a positive team culture.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Team Member, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the store. No two shifts are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of customer service and hospitality skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

Serving gelato, frozen desserts, and beverages
Preparing and serving espresso-based coffee and café-style drinks
Delivering friendly and professional customer service
Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures
Restocking products and assisting with inventory management
Supporting fellow team members during busy trading periods
Assisting with opening and closing procedures as required

About You

Can remain calm and efficient during busy periods
Are willing to learn and take initiative
Have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, school holidays, and public holidays

Skills & Experience

The following experience is highly regarded but not essential:

Previous experience in fast food, hospitality, retail, or customer service
Experience operating a commercial coffee machine
Basic barista skills, including milk texturing and coffee preparation
Cash handling and POS experience
Food preparation or food handling experience

Full training will be provided to the successful candidates.
