We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Design Assistant - Apparel to join our high-performing and professional Menswear Design Team.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, contributing to both the development and design of garments. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about both the creative and technical aspects of design and thrives in a dynamic setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking growth, where you can play an important role within the team.

What you'll be doing

As the Design Assistant you will:

Work collaboratively with Designers and broader design team
Working on technical sketches and BOM's for tech packs
Set up & maintain range boards
Assist with fitting samples & attending fit sessions
Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims and accessories
Undertake seasonal trend research
Collating research into edited presentations
Assisting with administrative duties & other design related tasks

To be successful in this team you will have:

Fashion Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design qualification or similar
Proficient in Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
Ability to create accurate technical specification drawings
Ability to learn on the job quickly
Knowledge of construction and technical skills related to the area of product development
Confident with Microsoft suite
Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly with key stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Ability to organise self and work to tight deadlines
