What you’ll be accountable for
Delivery Performance & Assurance
- Independently assess technology releases, programs, projects, operational workstreams, and client deliverables, evaluating readiness, testing adequacy, artefact quality, risk controls, and alignment to architecture, security, operational, and regulatory standards.
- Validate end‑to‑end change and release readiness, including operational runbooks, monitoring, rollback plans, support documentation, process handovers, and stakeholder communications prior to go‑live.
- Maintain delivery performance dashboards across technology and operations, analysing trends such as defect leakage, release success rates, rework, throughput, SLA adherence, and stability impacts.
- Facilitate post‑implementation reviews, incident learnings, and delivery retrospectives, ensuring insights are embedded into future delivery cycles.
Continuous Improvement & Delivery Maturity
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across delivery methods, engineering practices, DevOps, release governance, operational processes, and client delivery workflows.
- Standardise delivery assurance artefacts, templates, checklists, and quality gates across all technology and operational streams to strengthen consistency, reduce variability, and embed fit-for-purpose governance.
- Track and follow up on remediation actions arising from delivery reviews and incidents, escalating where sustained improvement is required.
- Support uplift in risk management practices to ensure delivery aligns with internal policies, client obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Insight & Stakeholder Engagement
- Define and maintain delivery performance frameworks, KPIs, and benchmarks across technology platforms and streams.
- Identify systemic delivery patterns and risks, providing clear, evidence‑based recommendations to senior Technology leadership.
- Partner closely with Platform Services Owners, Engineering, Technology Solutions, Change, and Run teams to ensure assurance activities are collaborative and constructive.
- Facilitate post‑implementation reviews and lessons‑learned sessions with cross‑functional teams, ensuring insights are embedded into future delivery cycles.
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes align with business needs, operational readiness, and customer experience goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, influencing outcomes through data‑driven insight rather than authority.
