Where you'll be working
Join the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Support Group within Information Technology Services, based at Cumberland Hospital. You'll work alongside experienced ICT professionals, clinicians and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, innovative clinical applications that support patient care across Western Sydney Local Health District. Support business-critical clinical applications across a large health district
Work with modern digital health technologies including EHR, eMR, PAS and Queue Management systems
Collaborate with clinicians, vendors, eHealth NSW and multidisciplinary ICT teams

What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Application Support Specialist, you'll provide expert Level 2 application support while managing, maintaining and enhancing clinical systems that underpin the delivery of healthcare services. You'll combine strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement to deliver reliable, secure and high-performing solutions.
Manage Level 2 incidents, requests, problem resolution and vendor escalations in line with ITIL best practice
Configure, test, maintain and enhance clinical applications, ensuring reliable performance and seamless system integration
Partner with clinicians and business stakeholders to analyse requirements, improve workflows and deliver effective digital solutions
Lead application testing, upgrades, releases, monitoring and system administration while maintaining documentation and service performance
Support users through troubleshooting, training, knowledge sharing and participation in project delivery and on-call support

How to Apply

Demonstrated high level interpersonal and negotiation skills including proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop and maintain documentation in both a technical and business context.
Proven ability to function as a self-motivated multi skilled analyst, working collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive proactive attitude, who can effectively work with minimal supervision.
Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems, and understanding of clinical business processes e.g. eMR, PAS, Outpatients, Inpatients, Emergency
