PoD Lead, ANZ Financial Services Industry (FSI)

Location: Australia (Sydney or Melbourne Preferred)

What You'll Do

As the PoD Lead for ANZ Financial Services Industry (FSI), you will lead Teradata's Financial Services business across Australia and New Zealand, driving growth, customer success, and market expansion within banking, insurance, wealth management, and fintech sectors.

You will be accountable for developing and executing the ANZ FSI go-to-market strategy while leading a high-performing team of Account Executives, Customer Success professionals, Solution Engineers, and ecosystem partners. You will build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic customers, helping them accelerate their AI, analytics, cloud, and data modernization initiatives using Teradata's industry-leading platform.

In this role, success means consistently delivering revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, expanding Teradata's presence within key financial institutions, and fostering a collaborative, customer-first culture across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the ANZ FSI growth strategy aligned with Teradata's regional objectives.
Lead, coach, and inspire a cross-functional team focused on acquiring, growing, and retaining strategic financial services customers.
Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and key business stakeholders across the FSI sector.
Drive pipeline creation, forecast accuracy, and achievement of revenue targets.
Partner with Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing, Product, and Partner teams to maximize customer outcomes.
Champion AI, data analytics, and cloud transformation solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Identify emerging industry trends and competitive opportunities to shape strategic account planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of Teradata's Asia Pacific Sales organization and collaborate closely with regional sales leadership, customer success teams, consulting services, partner organizations, solution engineering, and marketing.

You will lead a diverse group of customer-facing professionals dedicated to helping financial institutions unlock the value of their data through trusted AI, advanced analytics, and cloud modernization strategies.

This role reports directly to the APAC Sales Leadership team and serves as a key member of the regional leadership organization.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

10+ years of enterprise technology sales leadership experience, including leadership responsibility within financial services markets.
Proven track record of leading teams that consistently exceed revenue and growth objectives.
Demonstrated experience selling complex enterprise software, cloud, data, analytics, or AI solutions.
Strong executive presence with the ability to build relationships at C-suite and board levels.
Experience operating in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or wealth management.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
