The successful applicant for the advertised position will be offered an opportunity to rotate within the department to gain clinical competence in a range of caseloads and conditions. The role will entail provision of an effective and efficient occupational therapy service involving assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and evaluation within a multi-disciplinary setting.

We want a motivated individual who is keen to gain experience in a range of clinical conditions and clinical areas, who likes to work as part of a team, involving nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, dieticians, speech pathologists

A passion for rehabilitation and supporting patients to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
Confidence in conducting home visits, facilitating group programs and delivering individual therapy interventions.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence based practice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education.
Demonstrated experience working in a hospital setting.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
