Now Hiring: Sous Chef, Baker & Front of House (Gerringong)

Polpetta is bringing big energy, high-volume Italian-American favorites, and a bustling dinner-party vibe to Gerringong. We’re all about massive flavor, seamless service, and a tightly run kitchen.

We are building our opening team and looking for the right people to fill three key roles. If you love fast-paced hospitality, high standards, and a collaborative team culture, we want to hear from you.

1. Sous Chef (Full-Time)

Working hand-in-hand with the Head Chef, you’ll ensure the kitchen runs perfectly, the prep is on point, and the food goes out hot, fast, and flawless.

The Role: Working with the Head Chef during high-volume service, managing prep, and maintaining strict food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
What you bring: Excellent communication under pressure, a passion for cooking, and a willingness to learn in a new kitchen environment.

2. Baker (Part-Time / Casual)

Our bread and dough are the foundation of the menu. We need someone detail-oriented and reliable to own the morning bake and set the kitchen up for success.

The Role: Scaling, mixing, shaping, and baking our signature bread and doughs. Maintaining consistent quality and managing your own morning production schedule.
What you bring: Experience with yeast doughs, high attention to detail, and a love for the early hours. You’re organized, clean, and capable of working independently.
Perks: Consistent shifts, autonomy over your section, and no late nights.

3. RSA Waitstaff (Casual)

We don’t do stuffy, formal service. We do fun, high-energy, communal hospitality. Our floor staff need to be sharp, efficient, and genuinely hospitable.

The Role: Running sections, managing our streamlined set menus, and serving up our tight list of cocktails, beers, and curated wines.
What you bring: A valid NSW RSA, a natural ability to connect with guests, and the speed to handle a packed, fast-turning dining room without breaking a sweat.
