We are hiring a performance creative strategist.
The person who works out why an ad wins, builds a hypothesis, tests it, and does it again.

Half of this job is data.
The other half is everything the numbers cannot tell you.
Why this person stops scrolling? The quiet problem they have carried for years. Different ways to convey the fix so they finally buy.
Nobody gets all the way there on data alone.
The best live in both. Numbers in one hand, consumer psychology in the other.
Why creative decides everything
For us, creative is the whole game.
It is the single biggest lever on whether Gardeners Crate becomes a name every Australian knows, or a brand nobody remembers.
Why creative, and not budget or clever media buying?
Because the days of blasting the whole market are over.
The brands winning now are personal. Precise. Built so one specific person feels like you reached into their head.
So here is the question we want you already chewing on. Why would a certain hook make a 62 year old woman stop, feel understood, and reach for her card?
Work that out, again and again, and you do not just run our creative. You build the brand.
Now, us
Two founders.
We got into ecommerce in our final year at uni and spent four years building a store to more than 100,000 customers.
Then we bet what we learned, and most of what we earned, on this.
Our first product launched last August. It landed with a thud.
Ouch.
But we were already twelve months deep on the next one.
It launched in December 2025. First year, essentially one product, and we are on track for eight figures.
When a unique product and creative hits the right target audience, the maths is genuinely silly.
We are backed by mentors who have scaled brands past 100 million.
So here's our mission.

A category nobody in ecommerce wants to touch. No beauty, no supplements, no fashion. Which is exactly why it is wide open.
We are proudly local, and we intend to become a name Australians actually know.
Who you are
You have owned performance creative for an ecommerce or DTC brand.
Not contributed to it. Owned it.
You have driven winning Meta ads end to end yourself. Insight, review mining, hook, test, result.
When you say a creative won, you can show the number and tell us why.
You write. Copy and scripts that move real people, built on how humans actually buy, not clever lines for a showreel.
You own things. You have built inside a startup, grabbed the ball with no playbook, and worked it out. You do not wait to be told.
You are someone we can hand the whole engine to, and stop worrying about it.
The work, plainly
- Own the paid creative strategy end to end, research and angle to script, brief and direction.
- Run the engine at volume, about 10 concepts a week now, doubling that by Q4.
- Build the marketing calendar so the creative is ready and tested before each season, not scrambled after it.
- Read the account, find why things win, and keep lifting the hit rate while holding efficiency as spend scales.
- Lead our three video editors, raise the bar off your briefs, and keep the backlog full.
- Use and train our AI system so it does the grunt work on data and drafting, and you spend your time on ideas.
- As you find your feet, lay the foundations for recurring content and UGC, and start weighing in on CRO, landing pages and organic.
What is on the table
- We are not hiring an employee. We are looking for a partner who treats this brand like they own a piece of it. Because if you are good, that is exactly where this goes.
- Not a seat. The paid creative function, yours to build and own from the ground up at a brand scaling past eight figures.
- Both founders in the work with you every day. Deliberately lean and AI first. No bloated team, no politics, no layers between you and the call.
- A real share of the upside. A$110,000 to A$140,000 plus super, plus a performance bonus tied to efficient revenue growth.
- A real path. We are not hiring a strategist to stay a strategist. We want the person who grows into Head of Marketing as this becomes a nine figure business.
- Remote, anywhere in Australia.
