What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients receiving haematology and bone marrow transplant treatments. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients and families throughout their treatment journey while contributing to positive health outcomes and continuous service improvement. Key responsibilities will be to:
Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care
Assess, monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a dynamic clinical environment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support discharge planning
Supervise, mentor and support students, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing
Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
About You
We're looking for Registered Nurses who are motivated, adaptable and eager to further develop their clinical expertise within a specialised service.
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Recent clinical nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting
Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead, delegate and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach to care

Demonstrated recent nursing experience relevant to the position and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
