About the opportunity
NSW Health Pathology currently has an opportunity available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 2) with postgraduate Haematology nursing experience to work with the Haematology and Cancer Services teams at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on a temporary full time basis. The Institute of Haematology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is a centre of excellence for Haematology clinical and scientific research.
What you'll be doing
This position will facilitate the continuity and quality of care for patients undergoing transplantation for haematological malignancies and stem cell donors through expert knowledge and clinical care in coordinating the care of patients, their families and the staff caring for them. The position will support education, research, clinical practice and quality care for patients undergoing transplantation and stem cell donors.

- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience including 3 years full time equivalent post registration experience in Haematology Transplant nursing.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment with a high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and a high attention to detail.
