Redcape Hospitality is looking for a full-time Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at Saltwater Creek Hotel in Helensvale.

Whether you’re qualified, currently completing your cookery studies or building your experience in a commercial kitchen, this is an opportunity to learn from experienced chefs and develop through regular, hands-on service.

What You’ll Do

Prepare ingredients and assist with service across the kitchen
Cook and plate meals to recipe and presentation standards
Build confidence across kitchen sections under the guidance of senior chefs
Communicate closely with the team during busy service periods
Keep your workspace clean, organised and ready for service
Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures

What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a commercial kitchen
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or currently working towards it, is desirable
A genuine interest in learning and developing as a chef
The ability to stay organised and work confidently during busy services
A reliable team member who responds positively to coaching and feedback
Availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Applicants must have ongoing Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
