Swim teaching is an ideal position for those attending high school, university or TAFE, retirees, and parents with school aged kids as the hours are very study friendly and can be very school hour friendly. Those interested in applying should hold:

A current Australian swimming teacher qualification
Current and valid employment Working with Children Check
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation qualification
International police check (International applicants only

Desirable but not essential:

Infant, Access and Inclusion, Competitive strokes teaching qualifications
First Aid Level 2 qualification
Pool Lifeguard qualification

Teacher applications will be required to undergo a teacher competency assessment as part of their application process. In accordance with Child Safe Standards, we require all job applicants to undergo training, extensive screening and a background check prior to appointment.
