The Role
The PLC Joan Montgomery Centre is committed to providing educational programs which aim to develop competency in the lifelong skills of swimming, water safety and survival, health and physical activity in aquatic environments whilst focusing on participation and having fun.
We are seeking qualified Lifeguards to join our dedicated Aquatics team, in a role that ensures the safe operation of the Joan Montgomery Centre.
This role will see you supporting the delivery of aquatics programs and providing continuous supervision of students and users of our aquatics facilities.
About You
As a Lifeguard, you have a sound working knowledge of Victorian aquatic safety and supervision guidelines, and a strong understanding of duty of care within a school environment.
Your exceptional customer service skills make it easy for you to liaise with a wide range of people from various backgrounds.
You are a strong team player and mentor with demonstrated professionalism, reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude to your work.
Essential to this role are current Pool Lifeguard qualification (or working towards completion), as well as First Aid / Perform CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates.
