Full Job Description

Summary of Position

Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, washing dishes and equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and basic food items according to recipes and portion standards.
Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow opening and closing checklists and assist with daily kitchen duties.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Dispose of rubbish and maintain adequate cleaning supplies.
Report equipment issues and product shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
Assist with food preparation, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks as directed.
Work collaboratively with the team and follow all kitchen policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

Previous experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Physically capable of lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying items.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a team.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
