The Role
Reporting to the Senior Category Development Manager, this role plays a key part in developing and delivering category strategies that drive growth for both Sanitarium and our retail partners.

You’ll work cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Insights and Revenue teams to turn data into actionable insights, support customer plans, and influence category performance across key grocery accounts.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded category professional looking to step into a broader, more strategic role.

This is a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.
What You’ll Be Responsible For

Support the development and execution of customer-led category strategies and plans
Translate shopper, consumer and market data into clear commercial recommendations
Contribute to range reviews, promotions, pricing and assortment decisions with retailers
Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver integrated category and customer plans
Monitor category and portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations
Support NPD launches and go to market plans
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and retail partners

About You

5-7 years of experience in Category, Insights, Account Management or Commercial roles within FMCG or Retail
Strong analytical capability (scan data, shopper insights, market trends)
Sound commercial acumen and understanding of grocery dynamics
Ability to turn insights into practical, customer focused actions
Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
