Golden Plains Dental Services – Bannockburn, VIC

Full-time or Part-time (3–5 days per week)

Golden Plains Dental Services is a modern, family-focused dental practice located in the heart of Bannockburn. We are passionate about providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming, relaxed environment where our patients and team feel genuinely valued.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

Experience in dental assisting is preferred, however we are happy to provide training for the right person who has a positive attitude and is eager to learn.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has a caring and compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues.
Has dental assisting experience (preferred but not essential).
Is organised, reliable and able to multitask.
Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
Can show initiative and work independently when required.
Has a positive, "can-do" attitude and strong attention to detail.
Is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Your day-to-day duties may include:

Chairside dental assisting.
Instrument cleaning, sterilisation and infection control.
Preparing treatment rooms and assisting clinicians during procedures.
Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service.
Answering phones and managing appointment bookings.
Processing HICAPS claims and patient payments.
Managing patient records and administrative tasks.
Liaising with patients, dentists and other team members to ensure a smooth patient experience.
