Superannuation Warehouse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our professional team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements in accordance with accounting standards
Prepare financial statements and taxation documents for individuals, companies, trusts, and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs)
Assist with SMSF accounting, administration, compliance, and reporting requirements
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), GST returns, income tax returns, and other statutory obligations
Manage accounting transactions, reconciliations, and financial documentation
Review and analyse financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
Maintain compliance with Australian taxation legislation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Liaise with clients, external auditors, financial advisors, and regulatory authorities where required
Maintain and update accounting systems and client records
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and service quality
Provide professional support and advice to clients regarding accounting matters

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as an Accountant
Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles, taxation requirements, and compliance obligations
Experience with SMSF accounting and administration will be highly regarded
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, Class Super, BGL, or similar platforms
Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
CPA/CA qualification (or working towards completion) will be considered an advantage
