About the role
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and customer-focused retail professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with customers. You will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Previous retail sales experience is essential, with a proven ability to provide expert advice, identify customer needs and confidently recommend products and solutions. While experience within the pool and spa industry is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate who is eager to learn and develop their knowledge.
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
● Conducting pool and spa water testing and providing professional recommendations
● Delivering exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone
● Assisting customers with product selection and tailored solutions
● Promoting and selling pool and spa chemicals, equipment and accessories
● Managing service bookings and coordinating technician schedules
● Preparing customer quotes and processing invoices
● Following up customer enquiries and completed service jobs
● Maintaining store presentation and cleanliness standards
● Assisting with stock control, merchandising and inventory management
● Undertaking manual handling duties, including lifting products up to 20kg

About You
We are seeking an experienced retail professional who is passionate about customer service, sales and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and motivated individual with a proven track record in retail, strong attention to detail and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
● A minimum of 3 years' retail sales and customer service experience
● Availability to work weekday shifts between 8:30am and 5:00pm
● Flexibility to work weekends as required
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
● A reputation for reliability, professionalism and punctuality
● A technical aptitude and confidence learning new products, systems and processes
● The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
● A genuine willingness to develop expertise within the pool and spa industry
● Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
● Confidence using computer systems, point-of-sale software and other retail technologies
● Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
● A proactive, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results
Previous experience in a retail, trade, hardware, automotive, pool and spa, or similar customer-focused environment will be highly regarded.
