Cook / Chef -CDP/Sous Chef (Sponsorship availalble)

Location: 305 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood VIC 3134
Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hourly Rate: From $26.00 per hour

About Us

SSAM Korean BBQ Ringwood is a well-established and growing Korean BBQ restaurant, known for delivering authentic flavours and memorable dining experiences. We are currently seeking experienced Cooks and Chefs (CDP / Sous Chef) to join our passionate and dedicated kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Korean dishes to a high standard
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
Collaborate with the kitchen team to support menu development and improvement
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

About You

Proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a busy commercial kitchen
Strong knowledge of Korean cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques (preferred)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail with a passion for quality food
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
