Full Job Description

iScape Projects is a Landscape Construction Company looking to continue strong growth in the commercial, education and residential sectors, investing in quality equipment and talented people to deliver outstanding results in landscaping and garden excavation/construction, maintenance, horticulture, hard landscaping and irrigation. We also incorporate a 10 acre Wholesale Nursery.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Landscape Estimator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the landscaping industry.

Working alongside experienced estimators, you will assist in preparing quotes, pricing projects and supporting the successful delivery of residential and commercial landscaping projects.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Assist in preparing quotations and cost estimates for landscaping projects
Measure quantities and complete material take-offs from plans and drawings
Research pricing for plants, materials, equipment and subcontractors
Support senior estimators with tender submissions and project budgets
Maintain estimating spreadsheets, records and project documentation
Communicate with suppliers, contractors and clients regarding pricing and availability
Help monitor project costs and variations throughout construction
Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines

About You:

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and time management abilities
Basic understanding of landscaping or construction preferred
Ability to read plans and drawings is advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Eager to learn and develop within the industry
Previous landscaping, labouring or estimating experience is desirable but not essential
