Senior Administration Officer | Platinum Cardiology | Erina NSW

We're a busy and expanding specialist cardiology practice on the Central Coast, and we're looking for an experienced, capable administrator to join our team in a permanent full-time role.

This isn't an entry-level position. We need someone who hits the ground running - a confident, professional all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

About the role:
You'll be a key member of our front-of-house team, working alongside our senior admin staff and supporting our cardiologists with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. No two days are the same, and we need someone who handles that with composure and efficiency.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Reception and patient check-in/check-out
Supporting our remote team who receive a high volume of incoming calls
Appointment scheduling and diary management
Processing referrals, correspondence, and patient records
Medicare and private billing support
Liaising with GPs, hospitals, and specialists
Supporting the practice manager and senior team with operational tasks

You will have:

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in medical or specialist practice administration
Confidence with practice management software (experience with Shexie is ideal)
A clear understanding of Medicare billing and referral pathways
Exceptional phone manner and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball
Discretion, professionalism, and genuine empathy for patients navigating health concerns
A team-first attitude and a willingness to step up when needed
