Senior Duty Manager / Assistant Manager (Part-Time)
H2O Café Restaurant – Narrabeen
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Duty Manager / Assistant Manager to join our team at H2O Café Restaurant.
This is a permanent part-time position for someone who is passionate about hospitality, customer service, and leading a team in a busy café and restaurant environment.
Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available:
- Every Friday
- Every Saturday
- One additional weekday (negotiable based on availability)
Example:
- Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
- Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading front-of-house operations
- Supervising staff during service
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Opening and closing procedures
- Managing reservations and guest experience
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Working closely with ownership to maintain high service standards
- Supporting daily restaurant operations
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a:
- Duty Manager
- Assistant Manager
- Restaurant Supervisor
- Similar hospitality leadership role
- Strong front-of-house experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional and well-presented
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations
- Ability to lead by example
Preferred
- Local Australian candidates
- Experience in cafés and restaurants
- Knowledge of restaurant service standards
- Experience with reservations and POS systems
