Employee Relations Advisor

Permanent Hybrid role based in Brisbane (Eight Mile Plains).

What you'll do

We are seeking an ambitious professional who is eager to elevate and progress their career in Employee Relations! As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will be a trusted advisor to the business and you will provide high-quality ER guidance, navigate complex people matters, and contribute to a culture that values excellence, collaboration and integrity.

We are enabled by effective and efficient people processes and technology to support the management of our ER matters.

Deliver day to day advice and coaching to line managers on employee relations matters such as grievances, performance management, misconduct, policy breaches and health matters
Stay abreast of internal policy and external legislation to ensure the highest quality advice is given
Influence, coach and develop line managers to model the desired interpersonal and leadership skills to create a positive working environment in line with our values and employee relations framework
Manage individual caseloads to support and foster both leaders and team business-wide.

What you'll bring

Experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or HR, through previous roles and/or tertiary education (human resources or law).
Ability and passion for coaching and supporting employees.
Experience interpreting and advising on the Fair Work Act and Enterprise Agreements is ideal but not essential.
Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills are important as is a commercial orientation.
Effective time management and the ability to manage a number of competing priorities and time sensitive cases.
