Full Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Casual Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth operation within our medical practice, providing excellent service to our patients and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling.
Handle billing and administrative tasks using clinical software.
Coordinate with patients, hospitals, and other medical facilities.
Collaborate with GPs and specialists to ensure efficient patient care.
Send emails and faxes as needed.
Address and resolve general patient inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a GP setting.
Medical Receptionist experience.
Familiarity with clinical software, specifically Medical Director and Pracsoft.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Hours:

Flexible weekday hours, typically from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, depending on daily operations.
Occasional weekend availability may be required.

Compensation:

Competitive pay based on age and experience, ranging from $30 to $38 per hour.
