Production Supervisor (Gyprock Plant) Coopers Plains, QLD

About the role

The Production Supervisor role is a Full-Time position, based at Coopers Plains, QLD. Reporting to Production Manager you will provide people and process leadership to the Gyprock Coopers Plains Production teams, ensuring the team's health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised.

In this role, you will:

Supervise the production team on a rotating shift roster (Morning 6am-2pm/Afternoon 2pm-10pm and Night 10pm-6am) -24/hr x 5 days a week operation.
Ensure adherence with all Site Safety requirements, including PSIs, incident reporting / investigations and completing all corrective actions.
Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other parts of the areas including Process improvement and Engineers.
Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required.
Experience in analysing data and reporting.

What you bring to the role

Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry.
A strong commitment to safety awareness
Tertiary qualifications in Process Engineering or related subject.
Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person)
Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment
