Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Payroll team in our Fremantle office. Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in payroll processing and administrative tasks that support accurate and timely payroll operations.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, accurate, and has exceptional attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and processes in a structured and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

Creating and maintaining employee records
Monitoring the payroll inbox and responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner
Process end-to-end weekly payrolls ensuring compliance is maintained
Calculate and process payments in accordance with the relevant legislation and Awards, Agreements, and contracts of employment
Assist with the maintenance of the payroll and timekeeping software
Reconcile and process payments of Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax
General administrative tasks
Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly payroll reporting for internal divisions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes

About you

2-3 years' experience in a payroll or equivalent role
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
Experience in the interpretation and application of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel
Previous experience with UKG, desirable
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
