About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting an HR & Client Relations Officer on behalf of one of our clients in Perth.
This is a varied role combining front-office coordination, client relations, HR support, and general administration. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the reception and client experience are managed professionally, while also supporting day-to-day HR and administrative functions.

Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office & Reception
- Take primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of the reception area.
- Welcome clients, visitors, and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for the business.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls.
- Manage general reception enquiries and emails.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and visitor arrivals.
- Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
- Maintain a professional, organised, and welcoming reception area.
- Ensure reception is appropriately attended during business hours.
- Direct client and visitor enquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Provide a consistently positive first impression of the business.
Client Relations
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Respond to client enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Coordinate client communications and appointments.
- Follow up on enquiries and outstanding matters.
- Assist with client onboarding and ongoing client support.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure clients receive timely and professional service.
- Assist with improving the overall client experience.
HR & People Support
- Assist with general HR and people-related administration.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Support recruitment coordination, including candidate communication and interview scheduling.
- Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Prepare basic HR correspondence and documentation.
- Assist with leave, attendance, and employee administration.
- Support management with general HR-related matters.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and business information.
General Administration
- Provide administrative support to management and the wider team.
- Prepare correspondence, documents, reports, and other materials.
- Maintain electronic and physical records.
- Assist with office supplies and general office coordination.
- Support meetings and other office activities.
- Assist with other administrative duties as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in reception, administration, client services, HR support, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confidence dealing with clients, visitors, employees, and management.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A strong customer-service mindset.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in reception, administration, HR, client relations, or office coordination will be highly regarded.
- A qualification or relevant study in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Experience with HR, CRM, payroll, or business management systems is desirable but not essential.
