DOZCO Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian subsidiary of DOZCO India, a globally recognised manufacturer of heavy machinery attachments, undercarriage components and ground-engaging tools for the mining, construction, quarrying and earthmoving industries.

Supported by the manufacturing capability and technical expertise of its parent company in India, DOZCO Australia is committed to expanding its presence within the Australian market by supplying high-quality products, developing long-term customer relationships and providing responsive local sales and technical support. As the Australian business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to drive business growth and strengthen the company's commercial presence across Australia.

About the Role

The Sales and Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of DOZCO Australia by planning, organising and coordinating the company's business development, sales and marketing activities across the Australian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing commercial strategies, strengthening relationships with customers and distributors, and implementing initiatives that enhance the company's market presence and commercial performance. The role also requires close collaboration with DOZCO India's manufacturing, engineering and technical teams to ensure Australian customer requirements are effectively supported.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop and implement business development, sales and marketing strategies to support the company's commercial objectives and long-term growth within the Australian market.

Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities across the mining, construction, quarrying, earthmoving and infrastructure sectors.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with equipment dealers, distributors, contractors, mining companies and other key commercial customers throughout Australia.

Analyse market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and market expansion.

Develop sales plans, pricing strategies and market development initiatives to strengthen the company's competitive position and achieve commercial objectives.

Establish sales objectives, prepare sales forecasts and evaluate sales performance to support strategic planning and informed commercial decision-making.

Negotiate commercial agreements, prepare quotations and manage key customer accounts to maximise business opportunities and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, trade exhibitions, industry events, product launches and promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and expand the company's market presence.

Liaise closely with DOZCO India's manufacturing, engineering and logistics teams regarding product availability, pricing, inventory planning, technical information and customer requirements to ensure efficient support for the Australian market.

Monitor customer feedback, market intelligence and competitor activities, and provide strategic recommendations to support future business development and product planning.

Develop and maintain effective sales procedures, customer relationship management practices and marketing processes to support the efficient operation and continued growth of the Australian business.

Represent DOZCO Australia at customer meetings, industry exhibitions, trade events and commercial negotiations to promote the company's products and strengthen business relationships.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will possess:

A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Management or a related discipline.
At least three years of relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing or commercial management.
Experience within the heavy equipment, mining, construction machinery, industrial equipment or related industries will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to develop commercial strategies, identify market opportunities and build long-term business relationships.
Strong commercial negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
A willingness to travel throughout Australia when required to visit customers and attend industry events.
