Full Job Description

Saddles, Mount White, has an exciting opportunity for a Venue Manager to lead our front-of-house team in service, team culture, and guest experience.

Set across 20 acres of stunning countryside and bushland, the Saddles precinct consists of its much-loved restaurant, our recently added event venue (The Barn) and the fun outdoor & takeaway Spitfire Caravan - offering scrumptious breakfast and elevated Australian cuisine for lunch daily.

The Role:
This role will suit a leader who embraces the opportunity of shaping the business from within, and with a strong focus on guest experience and team culture alike:

Maintain service standards and continuously seek opportunities on how we can improve further.
Lead the team's performance from the front.
Provide effective briefings and training, ensure the team is highly engaged and adequately prepared to deliver excellent service
Support new and existing team members through structured onboarding and mentorship.
Develop and manage rosters and staffing for the venues, managing business needs and efficiency.
Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu launches, special events and service delivery
Ensure all compliance standards are upheld at all times
Maintain high standards across venue presentation
Actively engage with guests during service and respond to feedback with professionalism and care.
Manage the front-of houses systems and processes.
Manage beverage stock and drinks lists.

What We’re Looking For:

This role will be best suited to someone with previous experience in a Restaurant Manager or Venue Manager role and that can as confidently work with their team as they can independently develop and implement strategies.

Saddles Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only, hence offering the rare opportunity of daytime work and lifestyle, with evenings few and far between.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
