Full Job Description

Vinco Architecture Hardware, a well-established Building hardware importer, is looking for a purchasing assistant to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Sourcing new products and ensuring the product meets the desired requirements.
Negotiating contract terms of agreement of supply and pricing to ensure the best value.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure products are of high quality
Organise overseas shipment, check the cost of freight, track orders and ensure timely delivery
Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously
Enter and maintain accurate records and documentation of purchased products.
Monitoring stock levels and replenishing stock in time.
Review the quality and price of existing stock and new products.
Looking for related new products and business opportunities.
Coordinate with our sales staff as well as warehouse staff.
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing new processes within the purchasing function.

Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Excellent communication skills (BOTH verbal and written Chinese are essential, either Mandarin or Cantonese)
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel – Intermediate)
Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
Proven ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment
Can-do attitude, a deep sense of ownership and an unflinching desire to see a task through to finish
Strong analytical capability with close attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Previous procurement of supply chain experience is a plus.
