We have a fantastic new opportunity available for a Purchasing & Payments Officer to join the team at our B9 Botany Paper Mill.
Working on a 6-month contract the purpose of this role is to provide efficient and cost-effective purchasing of required materials and services for the Botany Mill site & maintenance staff.
This will include:

Processing of purchase orders using SAP & expediting of critical purchases

Coordinate logistics activities, including domestic and international imports, to facilitate the timely receipt of parts

Management of the site invoice payment process using SAP

Maintain and update site vendor records and material data, cleansing data and resolving discrepancies

Troubleshooting and resolving purchasing related system issues

Developing and maintaining strategic supplier relationships
-
Liaise with Stores, Engineering and Maintenance teams and with financial reporting functions

Performing market and vendor research for supplier selection including RFx processes and analysis
