Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you help in leading our team in delivering unforgettable dining experiences. This is a live-on-site role, offering a unique opportunity to live and work in one of the most iconic destinations in the world. What will you do?

Assist in leading the strategic direction of food and beverage operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences
Work alongside the F&B Manager to manage and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance skills, boost engagement, and achieve operational excellence
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with mid to long-term business goals, focusing on cost control, profit margins, and overall guest satisfaction
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulations
Maintain alignment to brand standards and internal control procedures across all food and beverage outlets

More about you

Degree in hospitality management or relevant discipline, or significant industry experience; MBA highly regarded
A minimum of 3 years in a leadership based role working in multi-outlet food and beverage operations in a luxury resort or high-end hospitality setting
A commercial mindset with proven results in cost control, profit margins, and operational excellence
Entrepreneurial drive, ambition, and a high level of compassionate leadership
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
