If you have experience in customer service, medical administration, or insurance claims — or if you’re a recent graduate in Law, Business, Nursing, Allied Health, or Psychology — we want to hear from you!About the Role:As a Trainee Case Manager, you’ll be supported through hands-on training and mentoring to develop skills in managing workers’ compensation claims. You’ll act as a key contact for injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers, helping to coordinate care and facilitate return-to-work plans.What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Assist in managing workers’ compensation claims from start to finish</li><li>Communicate effectively with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals</li><li>Support the coordination of medical and rehabilitation services</li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation</li><li>Learn to navigate legal and medical frameworks related to workers’ compensation</li></ul>Who You Are:<ul><li>Experienced in customer service, medical administration, or insurance claims, OR a recent graduate in Law, Business, Nursing, Allied Health, or Psychology</li><li>Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities</li><li>Eager to learn and develop your career in case management</li><li>Empathetic with a genuine interest in helping people recover and return to work</li><li>Sensitivity to issues related to people with medical, cultural and social needs</li><li>Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Comprehensive training and ongoing support</li><li>Opportunity to build a meaningful career with progression pathways</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented workplace culture</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li></ul>You will undergo 4 weeks' theoretical and practical training in workers’ compensation case management. During this time, you will learn about:<ul><li>The life cycle of a claim</li><li>Medical treatment types and appropriate management</li><li>Payment of medical expenses</li><li>Weekly compensation entitlements</li><li>Return to work obligations, and how to facilitate early return to work outcomes</li><li>The legal side of workers’ compensation</li><li>Dealing with challenging conversations</li></ul>You will spend time working in team developing the below skills;<ul><li>Arranging medical examinations</li><li>Taking a high volume of client and customer calls</li><li>Assessing and processing payments to stakeholders</li><li>Developing case management strategies</li><li>Reviewing and monitoring treatment requests</li><li>Liaising with stakeholders (injured workers, employers, and providers)</li></ul>Further training throughout your first 12 months' will be provided to expand your knowledge of workplace injury management, return to work planning, dispute resolution and workers’ compensation law.If you’re ready to take the first step into a career that makes a difference, apply now!About DXCDXC Claims Management has been specialising in workers’ compensation claims management for over 16 years, and we have an impressive track record of excellence in service delivery and innovation.
