We're looking for an experienced and inspiring retail leader to join us as Store Director for our Chadstone Flagship Store.

About the Role

The role of Store Director is to create an exceptional retail experience that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and builds a genuine sense of belonging for customers and team members alike. Leading a large team at our Chadstone Flagship Store, you will champion R.M.Williams Signature Service and create a culture where customers feel genuinely welcomed, supported and connected to our brand.

You will lead an exciting period of growth while delivering excellence across customer experience, people leadership, commercial performance and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Signature Service

Champion the delivery of R.M.Williams Signature Service across all customer interactions.
Foster a customer-first culture built on authentic relationships, expert product knowledge and genuine hospitality.
Coach and develop team members to create meaningful customer connections through storytelling, expert fit and personalised recommendations.
Create memorable experiences that build customer loyalty and encourage customers to return to the R.M.Williams brand.
Leverage digital and omni-channel tools to enhance the customer journey and drive commercial outcomes.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team aligned to the values and culture of R.M.Williams.
Provide regular feedback, development opportunities and recognition to support team growth and performance.
Create an inclusive and engaging environment where employees feel valued, supported and accountable.
Build leadership capability and support succession planning within the store.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and belonging.

Commercial Performance

Drive sales performance and achieve store financial and operational targets.
Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities for growth.
Lead initiatives that improve conversion, productivity and customer engagement.
Balance commercial outcomes with a customer-first approach.
Identify opportunities to grow market share and strengthen customer loyalty.

Operational & Visual Excellence

Ensure the store consistently delivers operational excellence and compliance standards.
Maintain a premium and inspiring retail environment through strong visual merchandising execution.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across store processes and ways of working.
Leverage omni-channel capabilities to support both customer experience and business performance.
