What you’ll do

Manage all transport operations safely and compliantly, including Secondary Freight Transport planning and execution.
Accountable for end-to-end store service delivery and operational execution across the region, seamlessly managing the interface between DCs, transport hubs, 3PLs, and retail stores
Create and maintain positive partnerships with 3PL transport providers, improving operational efficiency and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
Lead, coach and develop a direct team of Transport Supervisors and Coordinators promoting collaborative, safe and continuous improvement culture.
Manage peak season events and contingency plans, ensuring business continuity.
Champion a "Safety-First" culture by promoting high safety standards, managing site transport incidents, and ensuring compliance with CoR, OH&S, and RTW legislation.

What you’ll bring

Success in leading transport operations and service delivery across multi-site networks in FMCG, Retail, or Distribution environments.
Collaborative leadership style, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and OH&S guidelines.
Financial acumen and confidence in managing operational budgets.
Flexibility to coordinate operations across a 7-day rotating roster pattern.
