Full Job Description

Your new role:
This hands-on role will see you providing high-quality painting and maintenance services that support safe, functional and welcoming healthcare environments. You will:

Perform painting, decorating, plastering and repair works across hospital and healthcare facilities
Deliver planned and corrective maintenance activities while ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance
Work collaboratively with tradespersons, contractors and stakeholders across multiple Metro South Health sites
Utilise maintenance management systems and follow relevant legislation, policies and workplace procedures

About you:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled trade professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and contributing positively to a team environment. You have:

Queensland-recognised Painting and Decorating trade qualification and White Card
Demonstrated experience across commercial, residential or healthcare maintenance environments
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to workplace safety and customer service

Metro South Maintenance Services are the incumbent maintenance provider for Metro South Health Hospitals and Health Service (MSH) Facilities, with the primary objective to manage the corrective and preventative maintenance for all MSH infrastructure and facilities. Metro South's asset management objectives define the approach for delivering maintenance outcomes and the role of Maintenance management in supporting the achievement of the organisational objectives.
