Solar Saving is looking for a motivated licensed electrician who takes pride in their work, shows initiative and wants to build a long term career with a growing company.
Solar experience is not essential. We are equally interested in an experienced solar installer or a capable electrician with a great attitude who wants to be trained in solar, batteries and EV charging.
We want a genuine go getter who can grow into leading a team, solve problems and consistently deliver high quality installations. You do not need to know everything from day one. We provide hands on training, clear processes and step by step guides to help you confidently plan jobs, manage apprentices and run an effective installation team.
What Is on Offer
- $135,000 salary package, including $15,000 super
- Up to $40,000 per year through monthly performance bonuses
- Earn up to $175,000 per year, including super and bonuses
- Choose between working 4 longer days or 5 standard days
- You receive the same salary and are allocated the same jobs for the week, regardless of which schedule you choose

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who works hard, wants to improve and is ready to be recognised for the value they bring.
You may already be taking the lead on jobs, helping less experienced workers and solving problems at your current company without receiving the title, support or reward that should come with it.

What You Will Do
- Install residential and commercial solar systems
- Install home and commercial battery storage systems
- Install EV chargers
- Lead and support apprentices on site
- Plan the day and allocate tasks effectively
- Commission, test and hand over completed systems
- Troubleshoot, maintain and service existing solar and battery systems
- Ensure every installation meets Solar Saving’s quality standards
Requirements
- Current Queensland electrical license
- Current driver’s license
- Strong problem solving skills and initiative
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working on rooftops
- Solar and battery experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right electrician
- Solar & Battery accreditation is preferred, although we may cover the cost for the right candidate
