The Role
This Brisbane-based role leads the development and implementation of the management systems that integrate risk and safety across Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific.
You will provide technical expertise and direction to ensure risk management initiatives align with organisational goals while improving overall business performance. Working closely with operational sites and stakeholders, you will support the uplift of risk maturity and embed risk into standard business practices.
Success in this role will come from maintaining effective systems, influencing risk culture, and supporting the integration of risk management into day-to-day operations, with some travel across Australian sites required.
Implement and manage risk management systems and processes across DNAP
Lead continuous improvement of standardised risk management practices
Provide direction on risk strategy, hazard management and operating plans
Oversee material risk and Red Risk management including trend analysis
Develop and implement critical control management programs
Support systems, safety case development and site risk initiatives
What you’ll bring
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
Relevant tertiary qualification in Risk, Engineering or HSE
Strong experience in risk or safety management within mining or chemicals preferred
Knowledge of risk tools such as Bowties and HAZOPs
Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills
High level understanding of HSE and MHF legislation
