Catering Coordinator

Cooper Grace Ward has an exciting opportunity for a Catering Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone with hospitality or customer service experience who is looking to build a career in a professional services environment. Working closely with our legal and administrative teams, Partners and the Executive team, you will help deliver seamless catering and client service across the firm.

The Role:

In this role, you will provide high-quality catering and client service support while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the Corporate Services team. You will also assist with a range of general administrative duties.

While full training and support will be provided, we are looking for a proactive, quality-focused team member who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering an excellent service experience.

The variety of work you will do includes:

Coordinate room set-up for meetings, functions and events.
Undertake food handling, basic food preparation and presentation.
Order catering through suppliers.
Provide tea and coffee service for clients.
Maintain effective catering stock rotation and control.
Clean and maintain the kitchen and internal tea points.
Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices.
General administration duties.

Requirements:

Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Excellent personal presentation and a strong service focus.
Basic barista skills.
Strong time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
Initiative and the ability to follow through on requests.
