Catering Coordinator
Cooper Grace Ward has an exciting opportunity for a Catering Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team on a full-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone with hospitality or customer service experience who is looking to build a career in a professional services environment. Working closely with our legal and administrative teams, Partners and the Executive team, you will help deliver seamless catering and client service across the firm.
The Role:
In this role, you will provide high-quality catering and client service support while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the Corporate Services team. You will also assist with a range of legal administrative duties, including conflict searches, document and file management, uplifts and document retention.
While full training and support will be provided, we are looking for a proactive, quality-focused team member who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering an excellent service experience.
The variety of work you will do includes:
- Coordinate room set-up for meetings, functions and events.
- Undertake food handling, basic food preparation and presentation.
- Order catering through suppliers.
- Provide tea and coffee service for clients.
- Maintain effective catering stock rotation and control.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and internal tea points.
- Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices.
- Conflict searches and general administration duties.
Requirements:
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
- Excellent personal presentation and a strong service focus.
- Basic barista skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Outlook.
- Initiative and the ability to follow through on requests.
Desirable experience:
- Experience in a professional services firm.
- Experience using billing software, such as 3e.
