About Us
Our growing Metal Fabrication company located in Wetherill Park has available full-time positions for experienced, self-managed and motivated Metal Fabricator/Welders, who are looking for long term employment.
The role will suit someone who has experience working with complex fabrication and bespoke structures, and the ability to work with mild steel, stainless and aluminum.
The role offers:

The responsibilities of this position includes;
- Fabrication of complex structural and architectural metalwork, staircases, balustrades, and other various assemblies
- Be willing to take on responsibilities, problem solving and making decisions and resolve issues as they arise
- Maintain safe work practices
To be successful for this position, you should possess the following:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Fabrication and Welding
- Competent in reading and interpreting complex drawings
- High level of attention to detail, and quality control
- Strong problem-solving acumen
- Ability to adapt to change
- Flexibility with working hours
- Competent in fabrication using MIG welding
- Hold a valid Australian Driver License
Duties will include:
- Interpretation of technical drawings
- Checking fabricated items prior to and after welding
- Following and enforcing procedures in line with our Quality Management System
- Resolving fabrication difficulties
- Fabricating steel components and structures with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions
- Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs / fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products
- Operate overhead crane, grinders, plasma, and other hand tools related to the job
- Compliant with WH&S regulations and procedures
Pay rates are negotiable depending on experience and expertise.
