Food & Beverage Supervisor – Roebuck Bay Hotel

Location: Broome, WA
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $80,000 per annum

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee and support the Food & Beverage team in the delivery of efficient and high-quality food and beverage service across your assigned area.

The role includes supervising and training staff, providing exceptional customer service, assisting with stock control, cash handling and daily operational requirements, and ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety and hygiene requirements.

You will work closely with the Approved Manager and other operational teams to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth and efficient daily service.
Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to guest enquiries, feedback and concerns.
Train and support Food & Beverage attendants in service standards and operational procedures.
Oversee POS transactions, cash handling and till reconciliation procedures.
Assist with stock control, stock transfers, restocking and accurate recording of wastage.
Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Assist with the setup, execution and pack-down of functions and events.
Liaise with kitchen staff to support the smooth coordination of food orders and service.
Ensure opening, closing, cleaning and operational procedures are completed as required.
Maintain high standards of presentation, service and professionalism throughout the assigned food and beverage area.

About You

At least one year of relevant full-time experience in food and beverage operations.
Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality role.
Demonstrated experience supervising and training Food & Beverage staff.
Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with POS systems, cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and responsible service of alcohol requirements.
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
Food handling certification or equivalent experience.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure hospitality environment.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
